The Site's Limited Role

This is a private reference service with no authority over Sheriff Marty Hinson, the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, Jackson County Jail, the Tennessee Department of Correction, the Tennessee Board of Parole, or any other public office. It stores no official custody or court records. It cannot confirm a person's status, release anyone, change a sentence, file a request, or act for a government office.

Its pages point toward official Jackson County and Tennessee resources and may connect visitors with outside research tools. Any official statement or record must come from the agency that created it.

Conditions for Acceptable Use

Use must remain lawful, respectful, and consistent with the limited reference purpose of the site. The following conduct is prohibited:

• Do not use the site while violating any law.
• Do not use information to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person.
• Do not rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, credit, or insurance decisions.
• Do not attempt to enter accounts, systems, or areas without authorization.
• Do not use bots, scrapers, or automated collection methods.
• Do not interfere with access, performance, or use by other visitors.

No Consumer Reports or Screening

Jackson County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It provides no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Advertising and search partners do not provide screening services through this site. By using the site, a visitor agrees not to use its content or linked results for:

• Hiring, discipline, or termination decisions
• Tenant selection or any housing decision
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government program
• Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA

Independent Websites and Services

Links may lead to the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, release and court records, the TDOC FOIL service, parole or probation information, legal-aid resources, federal and immigration locators, and outside search services. The site does not endorse or control their content, privacy practices, data handling, prices, or availability. Review the terms of each destination. Service Provided As Is

All content and functions are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. There is no promise concerning:

• The accuracy, completeness, or current date of information
• Continuous or uninterrupted availability
• Freedom from errors, defects, or security weaknesses
• The scope or completeness of partner search results

Custody status and public records can change without notice. Nothing presented here is an official statement by the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, Jackson County Jail, TDOC, or another government agency.

Limits of Responsibility

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, Jackson County Released Inmates and its owners, operators, content partners, and service providers are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from access to or use of the site, inability to use it, or reliance on its content.

Your Duty to Indemnify

A user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold Jackson County Released Inmates and its owners, operators, partners, and providers harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from that user's site activity, misuse of information, or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

The original text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to Jackson County Released Inmates or the applicable content partner. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, altered, or used to create another work without prior written permission, except where law expressly permits the use.

When These Terms Change

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version takes effect when it is posted here. The posting date controls which version applies after a change.

Restriction or Loss of Access

Access may be limited, suspended, or blocked at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice. Ending access does not waive duties that by their nature continue after use ends.

Tennessee Law Applies

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Tennessee.

If One Term Is Invalid

If a court finds one part invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts continue in effect. The affected part will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable while preserving its intended purpose.
